			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It’s not easy to stick to a diet, not in a world of advertisements for food that is not the best for our health. Couple that, with the easiness of fast food, both at drive-through restaurants and convenience stores, it’s no wonder that it’s hard to stay on a diet.</p>
<p>No one said it would be easy. At least not in the beginning. Changing the way that you eat, takes some time and a lot of determination and restraint. Breaking old habits is hard to do, but it has been successfully accomplished time and again and the good news is, it can happen for you, too.</p>
<p>Sometimes all you need are some words of encouragement to keep you focused on your goal. The pursuit of a healthier, more attractive body because you care enough about your self and those around you, to strive for something better and that means a healthy body.</p>
<p>So here you go: I hope these will help you to take the first step, or if you have had a little lax period in your diet, maybe these ideas will help to get you going again.</p>
<p>Make the decision to love your body. If you don’t truly love your body, how can you ever do anything nice for it? Healthy eating takes some getting used to. Cutting down on sugar and sodium means making changes to foods that might at first not have as much taste. You’ve got to give yourself time to get used to these foods, if you love yourself and keep in mind the reason you are selecting healthy foods is because of the love that you feel, it will be much easier to do the right thing.</p>
<p>Think about your those people that you love. Once you start losing weight, how will they be affected? If they are close to you and see the joy and confidence you reap from your weight loss, they will probably be ecstatic. You most likely will be happier and that will make everyone around you happier too.</p>
<p>Repeat to yourself that what one woman can do, I can too. You know others have successfully stuck to their diets and lost weight from eating healthy. So what’s up with you? You are fully capable of doing what you set out to do—I know you can do it!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was walking on the beach the other day when I spotted an interesting shell. As I bent down to pick it up, a wave pushed in and covered the area with water. My first thought was one of dismay. I knew the wave had washed my shell away and chances of finding it were very slim. But at the same time, I was filled with wonder at what the sea might have deposited as it crashed along the shore.</p>
<p>Life works pretty much the same way. Sometimes when we think we have missed an opportunity, another comes along. I’ve heard some people say that when one door closes, another one opens. Opportunities avail themselves usually when we least expect it and it’s up to us to grab hold if we want to improve our lives. But if we happen to miss an opportunity we must realize that another one will come along, all we have to do is look for it.</p>
<p>The beach with the serene sound of the waves and the warm tropical breeze makes me think that anything is possible. I know that as beautiful and breathtaking as the ocean can be, the most awesome of God’s creations is man and of course, woman.</p>
<p>The sheer power of the human mind sets us apart from every creature on earth. It is this power that makes us accountable for everything we do. When we want to make changes in our lives like losing weight or getting in better shape, we must take responsibility for our actions and be accountable for everything we eat, drink and all the physical activities that we perform.</p>
<p>We can control our minds to make changes for a healthy lifestyle. It is possible to learn to Think to Shrink. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are so many women who go through life discouraged and defeated. Many of their hearts are filled with anger, bitterness and resentment. They seem to devoid of hope and believe that nothing good could ever happen to them. It saddens me when I meet women that are so downtrodden but I am always thankful for the opportunity to work with them as they toss away old feelings of discouragement and embrace hope and victory.</p>
<p>Sure, some people have problems that seem insurmountable, but everyone has challenges that they must overcome or learn to deal with. It’s important for our own self-esteem and sanity that we constantly seek to improve and eliminate obstacles in our way.</p>
<p>If you find yourself feeling this way, try to fill your mind with positive thoughts. Focus on happy times in your life, even if those times have long past. Redefine the way that you view others and allow good</p>
<p>The important thing is to not sit around feeling sorry for yourself, but instead go out each day and make a mark on the world. And, why not—you? You have plenty to offer the world, your family and your friends, not to mention yourself. The good thing about spending time exercising each day is that you have more strength and endurance to do all the other things in life that you enjoy.</p>
<p>Life is such a blessing. If you’ve ever lost a loved one, you know how precious life really is. Don’t waste this valuable time feeling sorry for yourself, being mad at others, or harboring feelings of guilt or resentment. Celebrate living today and everyday and permanently change the way that you view all that life has to offer.</p>
<p>Eating a healthy balanced diet will help to improve your mood and your outlook on life. Diets that consist of high fats and sugars tend to make you feel worse instead of better. Comfort foods that make you happy, are fine periodically, but foods high in anti-oxidants will provide a release in seratonin the feel good hormone that exercise is known for.</p>
<p>Remember that each day is a new chance for hope and opportunity. Do all that you can to keep yourself healthy and strong so that you can go out and make a difference. There is nobody quite like you—celebrate who you are. There is hope for a healthier you.</p>

Instead, they sit around worrying about saying the wrong thing, getting laughed at or appearing vulnerable. The truth is, we’re human and we are going to make mistakes and look silly from time to time—and that’s okay!</p>
<p>We can be so afraid of being judged or criticized or getting laughed at that we allow the fear in our lives to stop our progress. This is especially true when it comes to exercise. Often we refrain from exercising because we don’t like the way we look, we don’t like the way we look because we need to exercise—it’s a vicious circle. Then to make matters work, we don’t want to ask for help when going through a workout because we don’t want to appear stupid or vulnerable. What we cease to forget is that everyone who is exercising started out as a newbie too.</p>
<p>I have known women who refused to change jobs because they couldn’t stand to be the new girl at work. The fear of feeling of vulnerable or ignorant has a way of paralyzing our progress. It’s time to break free of that bondage and get serious about making a difference in your own life.</p>
<p>Exercise can give you that freedom. It has a way of empowering you as you master feats you may have never thought possible. If you will take the challenge and begin exercising today for just 30 minutes, you will transform your life. You will shed the chains of imprisonment and crush the feelings of defeat. Exercise will allow you to take control of your body, your health and your life.</p>
<p>Don’t be afraid to try something new. Take a walk around your neighborhood and chart off one mile and then two. Enroll in a dancing class or take lessons in tennis or golf. Buy a new pair of running shoes and start training for the next marathon. It won’t matter how fast you go, all that matters is that you complete the race—that’s what makes you a winner.</p>

<p>It’s true, you know. It happens to the best of us. As we grow older, get fixated on achieving wealth or just making ends meet, concerns for our health are “back burnered.” The sad thing is our health is never more important than when we lose it. And many times, once it gets too bad, no amount of money will help us get back what we’ve already lost.</p>
<p>Eating a healthy balanced diet is essential to good health as we are what we eat. Staying active is vital to optimum health too. Activities that increase your heart rate should be part of your exercise routine as well as strength training that builds muscles.</p>
<p>But, how do you get yourself motivated to exercise? Do you set a schedule? Or maybe reward yourself with something like a massage, a manicure or a new outfit?</p>
<p>I like to try new things, whether it’s an exercise class or a session with a new client. Even getting a cool new water bottle or downloading a new song or podcast that I can listen to while I exercise is a great motivator. I get my exercise gear together the night before and the next morning I’m ready to go. These extra preparations performed in an organized fashion, really help me get excited about working out. My mind latches onto these little tasks and happily anticipates the outcome, which of course means me exercising for better health.</p>
<p>Primarily, weight loss begins with a committed vision. Getting in shape necessitates a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise, six days a week. You’ll always want to save that seventh day for rest. Now if you have a crazy schedule, you might be wondering how you will find 30 minutes to exercise.</p>
<p>If we review a 24-hour day, 10-11 hours are dedicated for your job. That includes an 8 hour workday, an hour for lunch, an hour for travel and another hour for getting ready or dropping the kids off to school. If you are luck, eight hours is dedicated for rest/sleep. With, another 5 hours left in the day to watch television, eat and other life responsibilities. 30 minutes dedicated to yourself for exercise is an attainable goal.<br />
It’s a tight schedule, I know. But just consider how much better you will feel once you start taking out just 30 minutes a day to exercise. Combining aerobic exercise with resistance training will boost your cardiovascular health, build muscles and help you lose weight. You’ll look thinner, healthier and more vibrant. All these benefits and all you have to donate is a mere 30-minutes-a-day.</p>
<p>Don’t compromise your health in search of your wealth. Make both a part of your life, you deserve the very best—don’t settle for less.</p>

<p>To help boost your level of commitment, start each day with affirmations of praise and appreciation for all that you have achieved. Speak positive words of encouragement and keep a journal of everything you eat, drink, and all of your daily activities. Make a list of your goals and allow yourself time to meditate on them. You will come away feeling refreshed and ready to take your life to a new level.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Have you been thinking lately of getting back into a fitness routine? Perhaps you’ve wanted to join that new gym around the corner, but you’re just too self-conscious about going in there alone. Many women feel the same way that you do.</p>
<p>The first time I walked into that big room full of men and women working out amidst the noise of all those weights clashing together, I felt quite intimidated. Then I realized that they were there to get exercise, same as me and I had every right to be there too. Once I got through a couple of workouts I started to relax and feel more comfortable going by myself.</p>
<p>In the beginning, I couldn&#8217;t do anything close to the workout others there had mastered. I struggled with the weights, my muscles burned and I felt tired, hot and exhausted. I was getting lots of unsolicited advice from many of the experts at the gym, some saying I had to add more weights to see any results. I made friends and acquaintances this way, but I kept my senses when it came to taking too much advice.</p>
<p>I found that the more I exercised, the better I felt. The better I felt, the more I wanted to exercise. It wasn’t long before I was actually looking forward to working out. Exercises and moves that in the beginning were almost impossible to do became warm-ups to the more advanced exercises that my body began to crave. Rather than feeling exhausted after a workout, I felt revived and refreshed, ready to take on the day.</p>
<p>Exercise changed the way that I felt about myself. It provides an outlet for the stress of daily challenges and it offers visible differences in the way my body looks. I have more energy now, and with three boys and a husband, I need to keep going all day long.</p>
<p>I believe exercise can add positive benefits to your life too. In this day and age, women have many different opportunities to exercise. You can join a local gym, maybe someplace convenient to your office or home. This way it will be easy to visit often. If you don’t care for gyms, try organizing a walk group with people at work. There’s usually someone there who, like you, is looking for an outlet to exercise. If neither appeal to you, start exercising at home or engage in aerobic activities, such as walking, running, cycling, swimming or playing any sport that increases your heart rate.</p>
